Our second day in California we went to Knott's Berry Farm. It was soooo hot, at least 100 degrees. And it was the begining of May, so it was unusually warm.
Here's a picture of the girls at a river raft ride. Unfortunately they were too short to get on, but they were good sports about it.
The girls loved the "Camp Snoopy" area. They road the woodstock ride and then got to meet Snoopy. We also watched a live entertainment show with Charlie Brown and the whole Peanuts gang. And Valie and Laura Lynn got to go up on stage and be part of the show! They had so much fun and were so cute up there.
This last picture is one of Valie on these little coal miner carts that you had to manually row. It was a good workout for the kids and it was the only ride in the shade, so they went on it about 5 times.
